Amazingly warm and friendly service along with excellent food always make for a pleasurable dining experience. We arrived late on a Saturday night, grubby and cranky from a day at the state fair, with a sleep-deprived 3 year old in tow. The hostess didn't even bat an eye. My wife ordered ordered something complex and marginally off menu, and she replies "we've never done that before, but let's try and you can tell me if you like it!" The food was so fresh and tasty to the point that I realized I was making yum-yum noises at one point, and I don't think I was the only one at the table doing so. A limited menu, but one that showcases excellent talent in the kitchen and a thorough knowledge of the ingredients. I will be back very soon indeed.

Have not been to a Vietnamese restaurant before so didn't know what to expect. The owner explained everything and was very attentive as to what to put on. It was Excellent Very fresh ingredients I had a noodle soup with meatballs and tripe. Something different and I would have it again. Nice family. Go there

Stopped here on our road trip from Boston to California. Wouldn't have expected a good pho place in the middle of Nebraska, but it exists! It was the first time my boyfriend has had Vietnamese food. I've tried to convince him on several occasions but he's not a big fan of soup. He got the vermicelli bowl and subbed the grilled pork for chicken. It was excellent and great portions of chicken, shrimp, and fresh veggies. I ordered a small order of pho with meatballs and sliced steak. It was also very good and came with all the fixings. This was a really nice, clean family establishment. The customer service is great. The owner was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of. Although we're probably never going to be near Grand Island ever again, I'd definitely come here again

Legit pho in Nebraska! We are from the Bay Area moving to the Midwest and not finding much variety in terms of dining places. We found this place while going through Nebraska. Their beef pho has a clear, savory broth that really hits the spot. Service is also very friendly.

We were visiting the area from NY and had grown tired of all the fast food restaurants. We found this gem and gave it a try. We are so happy that we did. Exceptional food, wonderful service and generous portions. Food was fresh and very satisfying. I wish we had a place like this back home.

BEST PHO IN NEBRASKA!!! My boyfriend and I are originally from Garden Grove, which is next to Westminster. FYI, Westminster is Vietnamese capital of the United States. So I've had my share of awesome pho. Well, after we moved to Nebraska, I struggled finding good food, especially from they cultures. Then we saw this place and decided to try it out. OMG. Delicious, freshly made, copious basil, and this pepper paste that the owner makes. I love their spring rolls too with peanut sauce. Everything is just delicious. And the owners are so friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. We come here so often that they already know our entire order when we walk in the door. Would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for cultural food in Nebraska.

Cannot recomend this place more. I live in Denver and there are a million places that serve vietnamese food. None compare to this. The next road trip will include this place for sure, even if its out of the way ! My husband got the vermecelle (sp?) noodles, and they were AMAZING!

This is a Vietnamese pho place, I wasn't really sure from the other reviews. I went there in a chilly night and it hit the spot. I would probably prefer this for lunch over dinner due to the casual atmosphere and the type of food. The service was excellent and the food was really good!

I am a regular traveler and have eaten at many pho places all over the states and oversea. I gave it a 4 stars based on the location. It is in Grand Islands after all. They have a limited menu but good portion for the price. It is a bit hole in the wall but very clean. They are true Vietnamese/Chinese. The meats used here is very good. I wish they would have more basil and veggie. The owners says that's based on customer who tend to want more noodle and meats than vegetables. It seems to be frequent by local Vietnamese clientels. It is a pure noodle place with one or two appetizers. So people who are not into noodles or want a meat dish would have an issue with this place.

I didn't know what to expect when I found this place, as my wife and I have always been skeptical about Vietnamese restaurants in small Vietnamese community. After eating, it was a consensus, we were both pretty impressed. The Pho was really fresh and tasty, broth was excellent with generous portions of meat and veggie. They also make roast duck per order, which is also excellent. I live in Lincoln and have been to the majority of Lincoln and Omaha Vietnamese restaurants and I can say that those places' Pho does not measure up to the standard of this place. If you are in town, come and give them a try, we'll certainly come back.

Limited menu but very very very good. Nice to have a great option like this in a town the size of Grand Island. Portion was very large nice side items for the Pho' and very reasonable priced
